All seven of the 49ers recent draft picks report to rookie minicamp this weekend. Mike Singletary and company will get their first chance to see what the new rookies are made of. Everyone but WR Michael Crabtree who is out with a fractured left foot will participate in drills. Mostly the new 49er players will be learning the playbook on either offense or defense.
Mandatory minicamp for the team is June 5-7.

Carolina, CB Jahi Word-Daniels, Georgia Tech.

Eric Melendez has been a life-long 49ers fan that bleeds Red and Gold. While growing up in Orange, CA he was behind enemy lines when the Rams played in Anaheim in the ‘80’s and most of the ‘90’s. This however allowed him to see the 49ers every year when they came into town as his dad had season tickets for the Rams. Having lived in San Francisco since 2008 his appreciation for the Niners has only grown as he is able to continue going to games and cheer on the 49ers with locals at the bar and attending home games.
