John is born and raised in the UK, currently residing in the music capital, Manchester, and has been a 49er fan since 2005, rarely missing a single game despite the ridiculous time difference. He has twice visited San Francisco, in 2015 and 2017, with the 49ers achieving a 1-1 record in these games. Fortunately, they won the first one, and that's a beautiful memory, and also his claim to fame - he saw Blaine Gabbert win a game as a starting quarterback!
