James has been an avid 49ers fan since he was conceived. He got his first exposure to writing on a professional level in 1999 for 49ers Paradise. From there he contributed work to 49ers Webzone (albeit a very long time ago), for the Arizona Cardinals site on Scout.com, 49ershub.com and most recently for 49ersNews.com. Writing about sports has been a passion of James' since he was a child and would write post game articles during the glory years of Montana, Young, Rice, Lott and the incomparable Bill Walsh. His most fulfilling work to date was interviewing current L.A. Rams safety, Eric Weddle for Scout.com as he was preparing for the 2007 NFL Draft.
