While the last decade wasn’t always a San Francisco 49ers party, it certainly was fun at times. From the Jim Harbaugh hire to a sixth Super Bowl berth, five-straight losing seasons, multiple coaching hires and firings, to back on the cusp of greatness, Niner Noise brings you the top 10 games from 2010 through 2019.

The San Francisco 49ers have spent most of the last decade as an NFL afterthought, at times a rudderless ship with no port in sight. As such, sitting down to formulate a list of the team’s top 10 games since 2010 seemingly wouldn’t give one much to choose from.

No excuses here, though. After all, even with three different head coaches over three years, the Niners did make three straight postseasons before the bottom fell out in the bay area. Those campaigns, accompanied by one to close out the decade, give us more than enough games to consider.

Whether it was a dramatic come-from-behind victory in the 2012 NFC Championship game or a 2011 regular-season game in Philadelphia coming down to an end-of-game turnover for the win, completing this list was not as hard as first imagined.

Of course, most of the games on this list are from the aforementioned playoff seasons during the Jim Harbaugh years much earlier in the decade. However, a few come from head coach Kyle Shanahan’s first season to his team’s current 2019 effort, which closed out the 2010s in grand fashion.

As any self-respecting 49ers fan knows, 2017 to now has shown us more than a few examples of what this team would become in 2019, perhaps for a long time to come.

So without further ado and to bring in the new decade, here are the top 10 San Francisco 49ers games of the last 10 years.
