In case you hadn't noticed, San Francisco 49ers All-Pro tight end George Kittle is kind of funny.
Always willing to play a practical joke or have some fun at someone else's expense, Kittle's on-field prowess is only outdone by his off-field persona.
Seriously. How about the time he pranked then-rookie quarterback Brock Purdy by putting Iowa apparel in the latter's locker? There was also the NSFW under-the-uniform tee shirt he wore in a primetime game against the Dallas Cowboys, too.
The list goes on and on.
Kittle's last jolt of humor might have been a bit more subtle, but it's nevertheless entertaining enough.
And it just so happens to involve a subtle shot at another All-Pro teammate, running back Christian McCaffrey.
George Kittle makes fun of Christian McCaffrey's height
The Niners recently put out a social media post about the start of training camp, featuring images of both Kittle and McCaffrey superimposed over a background of redwood trees with "gone camping" as the theme.
It didn't take long for Kittle to respond, pointing out the noticeable difference in size between the two players:
The size proportions here are so accurate https://t.co/5Q4jhlmevq

For reference, Kittle is 6-foot-4 and 250-pounds, whereas McCaffrey is 5-foot-11 and 210 pounds.

That might be somewhat fair a comparison, although the exaggeration is fun enough. And it's this kind of banter that pays off in droves when the grind of the regular season gets heavy, which it certainly will for teams like San Francisco over the course of 2025.
McCaffrey has yet to respond, although he'll probably be made aware of what Kittle had to say when veterans report to 49ers training camp on July 22.
It's also likely not the last time the tight end will poke some fun at his talented running back either.
