NFL may slap George Kittle with a fine for NSFW shirt from 49ers-Cowboys game

George Kittle's decision to wear an anti-Cowboys shirt underneath his jersey last Sunday night might come back to bite him harder than originally thought.
The fallout from San Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle wearing a not-safe-for-work "F--k Dallas" tee shirt underneath his jersey during the Niners' 42-10 beatdown of the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday Night Football might not be fully dissipating just yet.
Kittle admitted to KNBR 680 that he seeks different kinds of motivation on a week-to-week basis, and that early 1990s photo of former San Francisco linebacker Gary Plummer donning a similar tee shirt underneath his jersey during the heyday of the 49ers-Cowboys rivalry served as this week's inspiration for what Kittle called, "Dallas Week."
The All-Pro tight end also admitted he's a "mild internet troll," too.
While Kittle might have been having fun, not everyone thought his actions were humorous. Cowboys star linebacker Micah Parsons later commented on his podcast, The Edge, that Kittle just made "it personal."
The tension between players and teams will likely die down a bit, at least until they see each other again.
But the NFL might not be over Kittle's actions fully.
Adam Schefter reports NFL is considering fining George Kittle for actions during 49ers-Cowboys game
On Wednesday, ESPN's Adam Schefter reported that the league is weighing the idea of fining Kittle for displaying "a profane message" during the game:
Schefter also added that the fine would be $10,927.
As of yet, there isn't any concrete report that Kittle would be fined, and it's a small amount of money for a multi-million dollar superstar.
Cowboys fans might get the last laugh of this particular incident, though, if Kittle is fined.
San Francisco fans, meanwhile, can keep laughing after their team eliminated Dallas in back-to-back postseasons before engineering a humiliating victory in prime time on Sunday night.
