The San Francisco 49ers have already been saddled with injuries and inconsistent play from their big names in what has been a very disappointing season, and a road matchup against Josh Allen and a contending Buffalo Bills team is likely not going to provide any sort of quick fix.

The 49ers will not only need to figure out how to beat a two-loss team, but the California squad will need to travel near the Canadian border in December and figure out a way to take down a team that is well-equipped to play in wintery weather conditions.

Snow Miser will reign over this game at the beginning of the holiday season, as the latest updates from the stadium make it seem like an old-fashioned snow game will be in the cards during a make-or-break week for San Francisco.

Per NFL Weather, the high in Orchard Park is a crisp 22 degrees, though it feels like 11 degrees due to winds that will gust up to 15 miles per hour. Snow is a certainty in this one, as it appears to be coming down throughout the entirety of the contest. As much as three feet was shoveled away from the stadium before this contest,

Latest weather update for Bills-49ers game could lead to brutal snow game

The 49ers may have a very efficient quarterback in Brock Purdy, but he is smaller than most and doesn't have the most explosive arm. In conditions like these, that could work against him. Buffalo, meanwhile, has the gigantic Allen willing to cut through the upstate New York air with ease.

San Francisco will need big performances from Christian McCaffery and George Kittle in this one, Kittle will likely get more targets from a San Francisco offense that might not be as vertical as they usually are, and McCaffrey getting the ball anything less than 25 times in this one would be complete coaching malpractice.

The 49ers beating the Bills in their own place with the elements throwing them off their game would be one heck of a way for them to resurrect their season. Of course, this is much easier said than done, as frigid temperatures can often serve as the kryptonite for teams that play in warmer weather.
