Predicting what games 49ers wear their classic throwback uniforms

The 49ers have the best throwback uniforms in the NFL, and it's not particularly close (we're biased, but so what?).

49ers throwback uniform game No. 2: Week 12 @ Seahawks

It's actually become something of a primetime tradition when San Francisco travels up north to face another NFC West rival, the Seattle Seahawks.

Fans may recall the all-white road throwbacks the 49ers wore to close out the final regular-season tilt of the 2019 season, one the Niners won in thrilling fashion to not only secure the division but to also claim the No. 1 playoff seed in the conference (thank you, Dre Greenlaw).

Since then, including last year, the all-white throwbacks have looked perfect at Lumen Field in Seattle. And with this year's road matchup taking place on Thursday Night Football on Thanksgiving, why not change up what has worked so well in recent years?

It's rare to see both teams don throwback uniforms in the same game, but the Hawks' own 1990s throwbacks are pretty awesome, too.

And it'd be pretty special if they could agree to match San Francisco with throwbacks of their own for this primetime showdown.

Still, there's one game that simply makes too much sense for throwbacks.
