NFL Christmas Day schedule: Who is playing on Christmas?
By Peter Panacy
The 49ers and the Ravens aren't the only teams squaring off on Christmas Day on the 2023 NFL schedule.
For years, the NFL dominated Thanksgiving and the NBA dominated Christmas. The NFL being what it is, though, moving in on Christmas was inevitable.
Of course, fans of both sports can split their time. And it isn't as if the docket of Christmas Day games on Monday, Dec. 25, 2023, is a bad one.
Especially with the San Francisco 49ers enjoying a home showdown against quarterback Lamar Jackson and the visiting Baltimore Ravens.
In fact, the 2023 NFL schedule makers seem to like putting the Niners on holiday games this year. Not only are they playing Baltimore on Christmas Day, but they're also traveling to take on the Seattle Seahawks on Thanksgiving, too. Cap on a New Year's Eve day game (in fairness, all but two Week 17 games are on New Year's Eve), and San Francisco fans can know what their plans are for each of the holidays.
