2. Jauan Jennings

The 49ers have missed wide receiver Jauan Jennings recently as he has missed the last few games with a concussion. Thankfully, he has been back at practice this week and is listed as questionable for Sunday’s game which is a great sign.

Jennings has established himself as a third-down threat since he has been on the 49ers. It seems like time and again he comes up with a huge catch on third down to keep drives alive.

It is easy to overlook Jennings with all of the offensive weapons that the 49ers have. But sometimes it is those guys who fly under the radar who make the biggest impact.

For instance, Jennings is one of the best blockers that the 49ers have downfield. He is not afraid to get dirty and try to put a defender on his back so that one of his teammates can have a massive gain.

That spirit permeates through the entire 49ers offense. You see guys blocking downfield all of the time, including the big names like Deebo Samuel, Christian McCaffrey, and Brandon Aiyuk.

It is that selflessness that defines the 49ers on offense. Jennings is the epitome of that selflessness. But we all know that when he gets his time to shine rarely does he drop the ball. Getting him back will add a key player to the offensive unit.

Getting back another key wide receiver and special teams player will be huge for San Francisco.
