You know the line in that holiday carol, "Oh there's no place like home for the holidays"? Well, it makes a difference for the 49ers playoff run as well.

Levi's Stadium has become a tough place to play. San Francisco currently owns one of the best records at home in 2023. The Niners only have one loss which was to the Cincinnati Bengals early in the year. Only the Cowboys have a better record.

At the end of the day, San Francisco controls its own destiny. As was proven in 2019, having the extra bye week is beneficial. It gives players a chance to rest, heal, and get their minds right for the remaining one to three weeks.

So, Santa, you wear red every year. It must be your favorite color. So please consider these three small gifts for the 49ers this year. If you come through, expect a larger cup of eggnog and extra cookies on your plate next Christmas.
