The San Francisco 49ers begin training camp this week, which means the long and arduous offseason is finally coming to a close.
Yes, there is still well over a month until the games actually mean something. But, considering some of the storylines that are paralleling the Niners this offseason and will heighten once camp begins, things will nevertheless be entertaining.
Training camp will essentially be a two-week period before San Francisco takes to Nevada for joint practices with the Las Vegas Raiders ahead of both teams' opening exhibition game of the preseason on Aug. 13.

When is 49ers training camp?
Training camp begins on Tuesday, July 25. The first practice session will be a day later on Wednesday, July 26. Two more practices are scheduled for Thursday, July 27, and Friday, July 28.
After a day off on Saturday, July 29, the Niners resume practices for three more days on Sunday, July 30 through Tuesday, Aug. 1.
All practice times begin at 10:25 a.m. PT.
The team has yet to announce the rest of the schedule between Aug. 1 and the joint practices with Vegas.
Rookies have already reported a week in advance for a strength and conditioning program.
Where is 49ers training camp located?
San Francisco's training camp takes place right next to Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California, at the SAP Performance Facility.
