49ers vs. Ravens: Monday Night Football game time, location, odds, TV and streaming
Let's tell you what you need to know about the primetime showdown and potential Super Bowl preview.
By Peter Panacy
In a battle of top seeds, the 49ers host the Ravens in a potential Super Bowl preview on Monday Night Football on Christmas Day.
Few matchups on the 2023 calendar have been as epic-looking as this one, a Week 16 Monday Night Football clash between two 11-3 teams who happen to sit atop their respective conferences, the AFC-leading Baltimore Ravens and the NFC-leading San Francisco 49ers.
And it's a battle between two legitimate MVP candidates, too, in Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson and Niners quarterback Brock Purdy, each of whom have started to separate themselves from the remaining contenders in recent weeks.
Perhaps Monday night will reveal who winds up taking home the hardware.
In the bigger picture, though, both teams are vying to hold onto that top seed. And while Monday's primetime game on Christmas day could essentially be a Super Bowl preview, both Baltimore and San Francisco have other business to handle about wrapping up as much as they each can in terms of postseason standings.
Still, Monday's showdown should be a dandy between the NFL's two most elite teams.

In 2016, Baltimore lost a close AFC North showdown 31-27 to the Pittsburgh Steelers.
