The 49ers still possess a healthy draft hand after handing a third-round selection to the Commanders for Chase Young. Niner Noise looks at what they could now do in the 2024 NFL Draft.

The San Francisco 49ers are no strangers to a deadline move, and they bolstered the defense for practically nothing by sending a third-round pick to the Washington Commanders for a former No. 2 pick in EDGE Chase Young.

Young has slightly disappointed, given the hype he had entering the league, but he looks like he's hitting his stride with five sacks before the trade.

Even with the projected third-round pick being pushed back to 2025, that doesn't mean the team doesn't have some good picks for 2024.

San Francisco finally has its first-round picks to use after the Trey Lance trade ran its course and has three picks on Day 2. Plenty of Day 3 picks round out what looks like a promising draft hand for the 49ers.

With San Francisco coming off its bye week before taking on the second half of the season, it'd be fun to see what a mock draft looks like. It's nothing too nerdy but just touches on what the 49ers could be looking at in 2024.

So with that in mind, join us as we quickly go on a little trip to see how the 2024 NFL Draft could shape up for San Francisco.
