49ers game today vs. Commanders: Week 17 injury report, odds, weather, TV channel and live stream
By Peter Panacy
The 49ers square off against the Commanders today, and Niner Noise gives you what you need to know to watch the game.
The San Francisco 49ers are hoping that the four-win Washington Commanders provide a perfect context for a "get right" game after what happened last Monday against the Baltimore Ravens on Christmas Day.
Coming off that five-turnover defeat, the Niners still hold the No. 1 seed in the NFC playoff picture but need to win out to ensure none of the other top contenders within the conference seize it.
While the Commanders present much less a challenge than Baltimore, San Francisco still had to travel to the East Coast on a short week after playing a primetime game on Monday Night Football a week ago. On top of that, the 49ers' injuries are starting to pile up, too, meaning head coach Kyle Shanahan's squad might have to employ something of a patchwork group on New Year's Eve.
Niner Noise breaks down everything you'll need to know in advance of the game.
