49ers vs. Chargers: How to watch, listen to 2023 NFL preseason finale
By Peter Panacy
The 49ers and Chargers wrap up their 2023 NFL preseason campaign this Friday at Levi's Stadium.
The San Francisco 49ers and Los Angeles Chargers have squared off against each other quite a number of times during the preseason, 49 to be exact, and the Niners have won 27 of those games with the last exhibition bout taking place prior to the 2021 season down in Southern California.
Now, for the third week of the 2023 NFL preseason, both squads will square off again for the final tune-up ahead of league-wide roster cuts and the start of the regular season in September.
The game takes place on Friday, Aug. 25 at 10 p.m. ET from Santa Clara, California, and it's likely both teams play a good chunk of their starters for at least the first quarter. Potentially even the first half before giving way to backups and roster hopefuls after halftime.
For those fans who are unable to attend the game live, we break down how you can watch, stream or listen to the game live this Friday evening.
