The 49ers have the luxury of being the top seed in the NFC, but which teams would they prefer facing en route to a hopeful Super Bowl berth?

The San Francisco 49ers had the luxury of being idle for the first round of the 2024 NFL playoffs, the Wild Card round, which afforded head coach Kyle Shanahan and Co. some much-needed rest and preparation for the subsequent rounds of the postseason.

Having clinched the top spot in the conference, the Niners had that bye and secured home-field advantage through the NFC Championship game.

With both games at Levi's Stadium turning into nail-biting affairs, it's safe to say San Francisco needed that extra boost from the home crowd.

Let's break down everything you'll want to know about San Francisco's playoff push right here.

The 49ers then faced the Packers in the divisional round, pulling off a come-from-behind victory at Levi's Stadium to the tune of 24-21.
