George Kittle is dealing with a ribs injury, but will the 49ers All-Pro tight end be available in Week 6 against the Seahawks.

Far too many of the San Francisco 49ers' top stars have dealt with injuries this season, none bigger than All-Pro running back Christian McCaffrey's Achilles injury that has kept him from taking the field to date.

Yet the Niners offense has been even more challenged this year, thanks to other stars missing time, including wide receiver Deebo Samuel and tight end George Kittle, the latter dealing with a ribs issue that kept him out of the team's Week 3 bout against the Los Angeles Rams.

Kittle made his way back onto the field for Weeks 4 and 5, hauling in eight catches for 64 yards and a touchdown in last Sunday's home loss to the Arizona Cardinals.

However, with San Francisco having a short week, thanks to visiting the Seattle Seahawks in Week 6 for Thursday Night Football, will the All-Pro tight end be good to go for the primetime NFC West affair?

Kittle appeared on the 49ers' Week 6 injury report, limited in practice leading up to Thursday night's contest at Lumen Field.

However, along with star linebacker Fred Warner (ankle), Kittle was removed from the report on the day before the game, all but suggesting he'd be good to go when both teams kick off on Oct. 10.

Over his career, Kittle has 51 catches for 750 yards and five touchdowns in 12 regular-season games against Seattle, meaning his presence on Thursday night will be vital to ensure the Niners avoid dropping yet another NFC West game and get back to the .500 mark on the season.

San Francisco and Seattle kick off on Oct. 10 at 8:15 p.m. ET.
