Deebo Samuel turned heads at Radio Row ahead of the Super Bowl, but his choice of clothing will certainly rub 49ers fans the wrong way.
There's no denying which team San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Deebo Samuel is rooting for in Super Bowl 59.
Samuel previously admitted he would ultimately pull for the Philadelphia Eagles instead of the Kansas City Chiefs despite also admitting he has "bad blood" against both squads. In KC's sake, the Chiefs beat Samuel's Niners twice in the Super Bowl, whereas the rivalry with Philly took a more personal turn after the 2023 NFC Championship game.
A primary reason behind the San Francisco All-Pro pulling for Philadelphia is Eagles wide receiver A.J. Brown, with whom Samuel shares a friendship.
OK, so that makes sense.
What doesn't make sense, though, is Samuel showing up to Radio Row in New Orleans wearing something, well... unspeakable.

On Tuesday, Samuel was spotted by multiple members of the media on Radio Row, and one Philly reporter, Eliot Shorr-Parks of 94WIP, caught the 49ers wideout donning a Brown jersey while walking around:

Yes, that's a Kelly green version of the Eagles uniform.
That'll likely go over well with Niners fans, right? While San Francisco's rivalry with Philadelphia only extends back a couple of years, there's no love lost between the two franchises, especially with how Samuel and the 49ers pounded Philly in the regular season in 2023.
Now, of course, Eagles fans can have a latest laugh while the Niners are watching the big game from home.
Or, in Samuel's case, from NOLA... in a Philly jersey no less.
Maybe Samuel could have simply opted for some casual wear like a tee shirt, sweater or blazer while walking around Radio Row.
Not an Eagles uniform. Sheesh.
