Rich is a life-long 49ers fan from Southern California who currently resides in Olympia, WA. He holds Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Political Science and American History from California State University, Fullerton. He also spent 10 years in the US Navy as a Surface Warfare Officer on USS DUBUQUE (LPD 8) and USS JOHN PAUL JONES (DDG 53) as well as a Naval Gunfire Liaison Officer for 2nd Air Naval Gunfire Company (ANGLICO) and deployed three times in support of the War on Terror. Rich enjoys reading anything on the US Civil War and other American history, and is a huge fan of the Anaheim Ducks, LA Angels, LA Lakers, Navy Midshipmen Football, and the USC Trojans.
