Who are the announces for 49ers' Super Bowl rematch vs. Chiefs?

The color commentary for Week 7's showdown between the 49ers and Chiefs will be done by a longtime 49ers fan.

You probably heard of him.

The 49ers have a high-profile Week 7 game against the Chiefs, and they'll also have a high-profile color commentator for the game, too.

Perhaps San Francisco 49ers fans can take some solace knowing that one from their ranks, future Hall of Fame quarterback Tom Brady, helped hand Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes his lone Super Bowl defeat to date.

Unfortunately, Mahomes and Co. have delivered two Super Bowl defeats to the Niners since 2020, including last February's heartbreaking affair in Super Bowl 58.

In Week 7, San Francisco has a shot at some minor vengeance as it prepares to host the undefeated Chiefs in a nationally televised Fox broadcast at Levi's Stadium.

While a 49ers victory won't come close to alleviating the pain from last winter, it'll at least give quarterback Brock Purdy and Co. some solace as they prepare to improve upon a 3-3 record.

Maybe a win would please Brady, too, who spent his boyhood years actively rooting for the red and gold.

Who are the announcers for Week 7 between 49ers and Chiefs?

With Fox carrying the game, Brady will join play-by-play analyst Kevin Burkhardt on the television broadcast.

Tom Rinaldi and Erin Andrews will be on the sidelines.

Brady previously performed color commentary for a Niners game two weeks ago when they fell at home to the Arizona Cardinals in a heat-influenced affair.

But, it's safe to say this Sunday's contest will be a bit more on the nation's radar.

Super Bowl rematches are always exciting, even if they're played during the regular season. And there'll be no shortage of attention on the two teams who battled last February for the Lombardi Trophy.

The Niners and Chiefs kick off on Sunday, Oct. 20 at 4:25 p.m. ET.
