How to watch 49ers vs. Chiefs in NFL Week 7 with and without cable
By Peter Panacy
The 49ers host the Chiefs in a Super Bowl rematch this weekend, and here's how fans can tune in live via TV or by streaming.
It's been a long, long time since the San Francisco 49ers upended the Kansas City Chiefs.
In fact, one would have to go back 10 years to the 2014 season to find the last time the Niners pulled off a win of any kind over KC, and a lot sure has changed since then.
Including the fact Kansas City has won two Super Bowls over San Francisco, including a heartbreaking overtime affair last February in Super Bowl LVIII.
However, this Week 7 matchup at Levi's Stadium not only offers the 49ers a chance at some vengeance, but it could also catapult head coach Kyle Shanahan's squad into a midseason surge that'll put the sting of a frustrating 3-3 start in the rearview mirror.
Exactly why this showdown wasn't featured in prime time is anyone's guess. However, it's reasonable to assume most fans across the country will want to tune in when the game kicks off on Sunday, Oct. 20 at 4:25 p.m. ET.
And here's how you can watch live.
49ers vs. Chiefs cable TV broadcast
Fox will carry Sunday's contest between the Niners and Chiefs. Even though it's not a primetime broadcast, 506 Sports revealed the game will be televised nationally as the lone Fox Sports late game.
Kevin Burkhardt will handle play-by-play duties with Tom Brady serving as the color commentator.
