49ers' Super Bowl 60 odds are right where they should be at the halfway point

The Niners aren't getting great odds to win Super Bowl 60, but they at least rank in the top half of the league.

The first half of the 2025 NFL regular season has officially come and gone, and with the absurd amount of injuries the San Francisco 49ers have been forced to fight through, they should be absolutely ecstatic with the 6-3 record they have at the midway point.

That said, though, it's extremely difficult to gauge where this football team truly is right now, as the Niners have been wildly erratic over the last six weeks.

After kicking off the campaign with three straight wins, San Francisco has neither won nor lost consecutive games since. After an abysmal defeat to the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 4, they bounced back with a crucial divisional victory over the Los Angeles Rams in Week 5. The 49ers then took an ugly loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 6, but then took a 10-point win over the Atlanta Falcons in Week 7. And after yet another embarrassing outing in Week 8, this time against the Houston Texans, they came back with another 10-point win over the New York Giants this past Sunday.

It's certainly worth noting that of the 49ers' six wins this year, only two have come against teams that would make the postseason if it started today, those being the pair of divisional victories against the Seahawks and Rams, both of whom sit ahead of San Francisco in the standings at 6-2. Combine that with all the injuries, and maybe the fact that the Niners did nothing at the trade deadline, and it's pretty easy to see why they sit where they sit in the updated Super Bowl 60 odds.

49ers have the 7th-shortest odds among NFC teams to win Super Bowl 60

Roughly a week before the start of the season, the 49ers' odds to win Super Bowl 60, which is being contested at Levi's Stadium, were +2000, ranking eighth among all NFL teams and fourth in the NFC, trailing the Baltimore Ravens (+600)
, Buffalo Bills (+600)
, Philadelphia Eagles (+700)
, Kansas City Chiefs (+850)
, Green Bay Packers (+1200)

And where do the Niners stand now? Let's have a look.

As you can see, San Francisco now ranks 13th overall and seventh in the NFC. And that's pretty much exactly where this team should be at this point.

Now, if the Niners can once again take down the Rams this Sunday, a different conversation would obviously need to be had, seeing as how Los Angeles has the shortest odds of any NFC team to win the Super Bowl at +400. But we'll just have to wait and see how things shake out.
