Brock Purdy and the San Francisco 49ers dispatched of the Seattle Seahawks in the Wild Card Round of the NFL Playoffs with relative ease — and if you only watched the second half, you bought that lede fully.

In reality, the first half was a difficult slog, and the dominant Niners trailed amid the rainclouds as Geno Smith threw things back to Weeks 1-8.

Eventually, the 49ers found their footing, though, and briefly Fetty Wapped the visitors before eventually wrapping up a 41-23 win, powered by 136 all-purpose yards from Christian McCaffrey. That victory earned them the pleasure of moving on and hosting … the Dallas Cowboys at Levi’s Stadium this week, a matchup most San Francisco fans are probably quite familiar with.

You know, the Cowboys! Stars on the helmets. Blue numbers. Crazy old man, you know these guys.

But when can you tune in? Did the 49ers get a good slot in the 2023 NFL Playoffs schedule?

When do the 49ers play the Dallas Cowboys in the 2023 NFL Playoffs schedule?

San Fran received a prime slot for this one, and will be facing off with their rivals of yore on Sunday afternoon at 3:30 PM PST. That’s the final game of the weekend. All potential opponents and moves across the bracket will have revealed themselves by kickoff.

By and large, the expert predictions appear to be in favor of the 49ers advancing to the NFC Championship Game, though there have been a few dissenters who bought into Dak Prescott’s resurgence against the Corpse of Tom Brady’s Buccaneers.

Recent playoff history also bodes well for the 49ers. Just last season, the clock ran out on the Cowboys as Prescott attempted to drive for the winning score, instead scrambling to the line to no avail in a 23-17 defeat.

Ideally, this Sunday produces the same result, but with far less hurrying and more relaxed breathing. The Niners are clicking on all cylinders, and though Kyle Shanahan’s system has made any QB/RB combo look good in recent years, Brock Purdy has shown surprising mastery, and there’s never been a backfield threat here like Christian McCaffrey (except when Deebo’s lurking).

Sunday’s the time. One win, and you are headed to Philadelphia or welcoming the Giants next weekend. Might as well get it, right?
