No. 2: 49ers EDGE Charles Omenihu

Defensive end Charles Omenihu had a breakout playoff performance against Seattle last week. He came out swinging picking up two sacks and a forced fumble.

Omenihu was not a regular starter during the 2022 season, however, he was an excellent rotation piece on the defensive line.

He played 54 percent of defensive snaps during the regular season, appearing in all 17 games and even starting in three games due to injuries along the defensive line. And after not recording any sacks last season, Omenihu had the best season of his career in 2022 with 4.5 sacks.

While the Cowboys’ offensive line might be paying extra attention to defensive end and Defensive Player of the Year candidate Nick Bosa, Omenihu will be able to take advantage of those double teams on Bosa and get to quarterback Dak Prescott.

Look for Omenihu to have another multiple-sack day against Dallas on Sunday, and help bolster the already prolific Niners pass rush.
