No. 3: 49ers EDGE Nick Bosa

When talking about impact players in the 2022 NFL season, defensive end Nick Bosa‘s name was never very far away.

Bosa finished the 2022 season as the sack leader in the NFL with 18.5 sacks, a Pro Bowl and an All-Pro selection. He is widely considered a shoo-in for the Defensive Player of the Year award. He is also even considered an MVP candidate.

In his first meeting this season against Seattle, Bosa has two sacks and five QB hits. In his second outing against them this season, he had one sack and three QB hits.

Needless to say, Bosa will be wreaking havoc on the Seahawk’s offense this Saturday.

He will no doubt be putting pressure on both of Seattle’s tackles. Even if he isn’t getting to quarterback Geno Smith himself, he will be picking up double teams from opposing offensive linemen and freeing up his teammates to get to him.

Look for Bosa to have a pair of sacks on Saturday, and assist his fellow defensive linemen in also picking up a pair of sacks.

The bold prediction for Saturday is four sacks for the San Francisco defense, and Bosa being instrumental in all of them.
