49ers must kick tires on these QBs to replace Jimmy Garoppolo

49ers replacement quarterback No. 3: Mike Glennon
Honestly, did you think any names might seriously move the needle?
Veteran quarterback Mike Glennon might be only a slight upgrade over Josh Rosen, and he does own a 60.1 completion percentage while being on some awfully bad teams in recent years.
Glennon started four games for the New York Giants last year and tossed a whopping 10 interceptions in that brief span, albeit on an awful G-Men squad that needed all kinds of upgrades last offseason when Glennon was no longer there.
Factoring in the array of weapons at San Francisco’s disposal, including All-Pros in Christian McCaffrey, George Kittle and Deebo Samuel, one might suggest the well-traveled Glennon might actually enjoy a fruitful season with a good team for a change.
Even though the 49ers likely wouldn’t ask Glennon to do too much while under center.
