No. 2: Christian McCaffrey is a member of the 1,000-1,000 club

Christian McCaffrey had a 2019 season in which he achieved an accolade done by only two other players in NFL history: He rushed for 1,387 yards and gained 1,005 yards receiving that year, his third season in the NFL. For that performance, he earned a Pro Bowl and an All-Pro selection.

Going over 1,000 yards rushing and 1,000 yards receiving in a single season puts him in a very exclusive club with two very special NFL alumni.

The last time it happened was in 1999 by Hall of Fame running back Marshall Faulk who had 1,381 yards rushing and 1,048 yards receiving, and the first time it happened was from a 49ers alum, the great Roger Craig, who rushed for 1,050 yards and had 1,016 yards receiving in 1985.

Will McCaffrey be the first player to have a 1,000-yard rushing and 1,000-yard receiving season twice in his career?

Only time will tell, but he certainly has the ability to do it.
