San Francisco might be a game below the .500 mark, and there are plenty of reasons why the year is going poorly thus far.

Safety Talanoa Hufanga, however, is not one of those reasons.

The second-year pro is emerging as one of the 49ers’ better up-and-coming defensive stars, now having four tackles for a loss on the year, including this missle of one below:

And, as 49ers Webzone’s Al Sacco pointed out, Hufanga is the only non-linebacker/defensive lineman of 20 players who have recorded at least four tackles for a loss thus far in 2022.

Impressive.

Hufanga might have only finished with four tackles in the game, including the one above. But, just like the bulk of the Niners’ defensive cast, he certainly did his share in putting his team in a position to win.
