49ers vs. Broncos prop bet No. 2: Taking the over on Niners’ total points (+100)

Week 1’s loss to the Bears skewed the 49ers’ total scoring offense considerably, as Kyle Shanahan’s squad managed a mere 10 points amid the rain-soaked conditions of Soldier Field.

Week 2’s domination over Seattle was a bit more revealing, though, with the Niners scoring 27 points and essentially having the game “put away” by the time the fourth quarter rolled around.

Interestingly enough, FanDuel lists San Francisco’s point-total over/under at 23.5, and the under is actually favored at -122.

In some regards, that makes sense. The 49ers haven’t worked Jimmy Garoppolo into their 2022 offense that much, are the road team and are going up what’s looked to be a solid Denver defense this weekend.

However, one can consider the reality of the Broncos not exactly having had to square off against elite offenses in either the Seahawks or Texans, and the nature of the Niners wanting to hold off Russell Wilson and Co. might mean the scoring winds up exceeding the natural 44.5 over/under anyway for this contest.

Consider grabbing the over on San Francisco’s Week 3 point totals at +100 for this one.
