The 49ers still have a couple of hurdles to overcome if they want to win Super Bowl 56, but at least they don’t have the worst odds of the four remaining teams.

It’s almost unreal to fathom the San Francisco 49ers being one of the final four teams with a shot at winning Super Bowl LVI on Feb. 13, 2022.

Especially looking back at that stretch when the Niners endured a four-game losing streak earlier this season and were, at one point, 3-5.

Yet that’s precisely where head coach Kyle Shanahan and Co. find themselves after knocking off the Dallas Cowboys and Green Bay Packers in the Wild Card and divisional round of the NFL playoffs, respectively, opening up a date now with the Los Angeles Rams in the 2022 NFC Championship game.

San Francisco arguably has the most limited quarterback of all the teams remaining, Jimmy Garoppolo. Yet a stout defense that held both the Cowboys’ No. 1 offense in the league during the regular season to 17 points, followed by giving up just 10 to quarterback Aaron Rodgers and the Packers amid the icy conditions at Lambeau Field, might be enough to offset any challenges Garoppolo has.

What are 49ers odds to win Super Bowl 56?

Perhaps surprising to some, the 49ers don’t actually have the worst betting odds to win Super Bowl LVI in February, which will be held at the home of the Rams, SoFI Stadium, in Southern California.

According to the oddsmakers at WynnBET, the Niners own the third best odds to hoist the Lombardi Trophy when the playoffs finally come to a close:

  1. Kansas City Chiefs: +130
  2. Los Angeles Rams: +210
  3. San Francisco 49ers: +450
  4. Cincinnati Bengals: +750

Perhaps this has more to do with the fact the Cincinnati Bengals, who upset the AFC’s No. 1 seed, the Tennessee Titans, in the divisional round have a much tougher road to even get to the Super Bowl, having to knock off the surging Chiefs after Kansas City won a thriller over the Buffalo Bills in the same round.

San Francisco, meanwhile, beat Los Angeles both times in the NFC West regular-season series and has won six games in a row over LA.
