The 49ers won’t have to worry too much about inclement weather as they host the Falcons for a crucial Week 15 game at Levi’s Stadium.

The 7-6 San Francisco 49ers have only two regular-season home games left on the 2021 calendar, and it’s surely in their best interest to win both of them.

In less than three weeks, the Niners host the hapless two-win Houston Texans on Jan. 2, which should be an easy game, yet head coach Kyle Shanahan and Co. have to be more concerned about their immediate opponent, the 6-7 Atlanta Falcons, who despite having bottom-tier offenses and defenses this season, still find themselves in contention for a playoff berth.

San Francisco, currently seeded at No. 6 in the NFC playoff picture, a home loss here could drastically shake things up down the stretch.

Fortunately, at least as far as eliminating unnecessary X-factors, Shanahan’s team won’t have to worry about wholly inclement weather as it has earlier this season.

49ers vs. Falcons: NFL weather should be favorable for Week 15 game

Northern California has found itself hit by numerous rainy and windy storms in recent days, and the activity is expected to continue next week, too, during the holidays.

Fortunately, there’s anticipated to be a bit of a break by the time Week 15 rolls around and the 49ers kick off versus the Falcons at Levi’s Stadium.

The NFL weather forecast for the game calls for cloudy skies with a kickoff temperature of 52 degrees. There’s zero probability of rain forecasted, too, which is great news for field conditions during the game.

If there was one factor, it would be the wind. But even that’s projected to be a south-southeasterly wind of just five miles per hour.

Not too big a factor there, meaning it should be ideal late-year conditions for both the Niners and Falcons, as well as fans looking forward to some fun tailgating outside the stadium.

San Francisco and Atlanta kick off on Sunday, Dec. 19 at 4:05 p.m. ET from Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California.
