49ers Round 5 Pick, No. 155 Overall: Offensive Lineman David Moore, Grambling State.

The 49ers under Kyle Shanahan have shined in many ways, but one of the main focuses during Shanahan’s tenure with the team has been the offensive line. The Niners’ O-line has been one of the core pieces of their dominant offense and run game.

After extending left tackle Trent Williams and bringing in center Alex Mack, San Francisco has no pressing needs on the offensive line, at least in terms of starters, but that doesn’t stop it from adding to its depth by drafting David Moore from Grambling State.

Moore is a versatile offensive lineman with a great build for the position at 350 pounds. Although he is not the most polished prospect, he has the raw athleticism to develop into a strong NFL offensive lineman, likely playing guard. There are few teams better suited for an offensive lineman to develop than the 49ers.

Moore would be a great depth piece for the Niners, and with coaching, could become a fixture on an O-line that has the potential to be one of the NFL’s best in 2021 beyond.

San Francisco continues to add depth to one of its biggest strengths with this pick.
