The SF 49ers are relatively heavy favorites against the Eagles this weekend.

For a team absolutely decimated by injuries, the SF 49ers are still yet to go into a game as an underdog so far this season. This Sunday night, the Niners are facing off against the Philadelphia Eagles, who are probably even more banged up with some key players missing on both sides of the ball, most notably tight end Dallas Goedert, left tackle Jason Peters, cornerback Avaonte Maddox, wide receiver Jalen Reagor among other key contributors.

One of the biggest storylines of the season has been the utter disappointment that are the 0-2-1 Eagles, and the regression of franchise quarterback Carson Wentz. This will no doubt be another uphill for Wentz against the sturdy (albeit also dinged up) Niners defensive unit.

The Niners will be missing quite a bit of their key players as well including:

Still, it seems that even with backup quarterback Nick Mullens under center, the SF 49ers are still in a much better headspace than the Eagles. The Niners depth, along with the return of some key players including wide receiver Deebo Samuel and tight end George Kittle, should be enough to truck through the Eagles this Sunday night.

Let’s take a look at certain betting odds and some worthwhile picks for tomorrow’s primetime game!

SF 49ers vs. Cardinals: Betting Odds and Lines

The line currently stands at -7 for the 49ers according to OddsShark.com, which seems like a fair enough spread considering the injuries on both sides. The money line comes in at -310 for the Niners. It’s pretty evident who Vegas thinks is gonna take this game as the Eagles have shown absolutely no reason to be trusted.

The over/under comes in at a moderately low 45.0 points for this game. This is pretty much in the same range as all of the 49ers games so far this season to date.

Summary

Spread: Niners -7 favorites (-310 ML)

Game total: 45.0 o/u

SF 49ers bets to consider

As stated above, Mullens is definitely capable of leading the Niners to a win here, especially with the guy who he turned into the single season tight end receiving record holder in Kittle. But will that be enough to cover the spread? I think so, and to be quite honest I would go as far as to say as this line is too low.

The Niners have shown their immense ability to overcome injuries and shown how mentally tough they are as a unit. Their depth is absolutely insane, and while I think their cornerback situation is kind of in shambles, the Eagles don’t really have any wide receivers that would give even the most questionable of corners very much trouble.

A touchdown is a lot more than the 49ers have won their last two games by, so it is probably a smart move to lay the chalk with the 49ers this Sunday night. I will have to go with the Niners at minus-7 here in what I think will be an absolute thrashing of the Eagles.

The over/under is also kind of low considering how many points the Niners have been able to put up on a weekly basis. I got to root for the high scoring game here and will predict that the over/under is crushed by at least seven points here. Give me the over in what I think will be a high-scoring affair.

Final Score Prediction: Niners win 38-24

Next. SF 49ers can make Eagles spin with Deebo Samuel back. dark

This should be a great game if you’re a Niners fan (which I am assuming you are or else why else would you be here?). Hopefully, the 49ers come through and show everyone that they will be a force to be reckoned with once again this season.
