No. 2: 49ers Wide Receiver Deebo Samuel

Wide receiver Deebo Samuel, the second-round (36th overall) selection of the 49ers in the 2019 NFL Draft, went to work right away in his rookie season.

The versatile receiver out of South Carolina finished the season with 57 receptions, 802 yards receiving and three touchdowns. His receptions and yardage totals put him at No. 2 for the team in those stats behind only All-Pro tight end George Kittle.

Samuel also had 14 rushing attempts for 159 yards rushing and three touchdowns. Can you say dual-threat?

Pro Football Focus ended up naming Samuel as part of their 2019 All-Rookie team. And having only started 11 games last season, the sky is the limit for him in 2020. In all likelihood, he will be a full-time starter in 2020 so expect even bigger numbers from him.

If he tops the 1,000-yard receiving mark he should have an excellent chance of making his first Pro Bowl in his sophomore season.

One caveat though is Samuel could be out until October due to his recovery from a Jones fracture in his left foot. Therefore he could miss a few games early on in the season. He would have to make the most of the games he returns for, but with his abilities, there is little doubt he will shine upon his return.
