49ers vs. Seahawks: Who won the 2020 offseason battle?
49ers vs. Seahawks Offseason Battle: Final Thoughts
Overall, both the Niners and Seahawks have had very similar offseasons. Neither team made a super splashy move to really put themselves over the edge of the other team. Trent Williams was a big acquisition, but it’s somewhat negated by the retirement of stalwart tackle Joe Staley.

San Fransico has done a better job of managing the offseason and working to keep its roster together as best as possible. Seattle didn’t exactly do anything terrible, but it also did nothing to completely put itself ahead of the 49ers.
Simply put, the Seahawks are going to rely heavily again on the arm of Russell Wilson and a number of skill players while hoping some of the returning defensive standouts continue to serve as cornerstone pieces.
The Niners, meanwhile, remain the top contender emerging from the NFC West. Seattle, while always dangerous especially with Wilson in tow, remains at least one tier behind.
It will be very interesting to see these teams and where they are at once the season starts. A 49ers versus Seahawks game is always a great matchup to watch for any football fan, and there’s no reason to suspect the two-game regular-season series in 2020 will be any different.
