No. 1: Week 10 @ New Orleans Saints

One of the most exciting if not the most exciting game of 2019 was the 49ers against the New Orleans Saints. The two top NFC teams did battle in the bayou and put on an offensive clinic. The Niners came away with a 48-46 victory on a last-second field goal.

More from SF 49ers News

In Week 10 the 49ers head to New Orleans again for the second straight year to take on the Saints.

In their 2019 meeting, Garoppolo threw for 349 yards and four touchdowns. Wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders even got a piece of the quarterbacking action as well and he threw a 35-yard touchdown to running back Raheem Mostert.

This time around Sanders will be on the opposing sideline as he signed with the Saints this offseason. The 49ers will be looking to show that they can repeat that offensive production without Sanders in their lineup.

Quarterback Drew Brees and wide receiver Michael Thomas of the Saints should connect multiple times in this game. But it will come down to the 49ers defense being able to limit that as much as possible if they want to walk away with the victory.

Don’t expect as high scoring of a game as last season’s thriller. But expect to see a lot of offense in Round 2.
