No. 2: Week 8 @ Seattle Seahawks

The Seattle Seahawks have been a thorn in the 49ers side since 2011. As one team rises the other does as well, back and forth they have gone for years. With the last few seasons going to the Seahawks, but 2019 saw another shift in power.

The teams split their series 1-1 in 2019, but the Niners came out on top as winners of the NFC West division. Both games were decided by a one-score difference.

The first game in the Bay Area saw the Seahawks hitting a walk-off field goal in overtime. And the second game in Seattle saw the 49ers making a last-second goal-line stop by Dre Greenlaw for the win.

Being that it was the last game of the 2019 regular season, it was quite a way to end the 100th NFL season.

In Week 8, the 49ers will travel to Seattle and do it all over again. After the excellent battles both teams had in 2019, it’s probably safe to expect much of the same starting with their mid-season matchup in 2020.
