A small-school prospect who used the East-West Shrine game to get himself noticed, UNC Charlotte offensive guard Cameron Clark has a lot of raw potential which can be brought up slowly by San Francisco.

More from SF 49ers Draft

Clark drew the attention of scouts during practices and interviews at the East-West Shrine game and made himself a draftable prospect. He garnered a lot of interest from teams conducting the interviews as well, as he was very impressive.

A tackle for Charlotte, Clark will need to move inside to guard at the NFL level. He needs to fill out his frame for the pro, but he can develop as a backup interior lineman before fighting for a starting role.

Clark is intriguing as a player with significant upside who can be taken in the sixth or seventh round in the draft, and the Niners are a perfect fit as a well-coached team who can use him for depth while building him up.
