When you look at the later rounds, you take gambles on athletes who get overlooked for whatever reason. Perhaps they’ve been overshadowed in their team or they’re from a small school.

For Tulsa cornerback Reggie Robinson, the latter applies here.

Robinson had a magnificent senior season with three interceptions and 13 pass deflections. He didn’t record an interception for the rest of his college career, but he did record 34 pass deflections during his time at Tulsa.

Robinson is a good size, at 6-foot-1 and 202 pounds, and recorded an excellent time of 4.44 seconds in the 40-yard dash at the NFL Scouting Combine.

Most impressive, however, is his ability to get into position to make plays. A whopping 34 pass deflections is not a fluke.

Robinson is a pick who has the potential to develop into a very good cornerback in the NFL.
