Predicting 49ers offensive starting lineup before 2020 NFL Draft
By Peter Panacy
Offensive Line
Center: Weston Richburg
Guard: Laken Tomlinson, Daniel Brunskill
Tackle: Joe Staley, Mike McGlinchey
Unlike 2018, the 49ers went through some serious attrition along their offensive line last year. If there was a bonus to this, it was the emergence of former AAF offensive lineman Daniel Brunskill, who saw plenty of action at both tackle spots and at right guard due to injuries to right guard Mike Person and tackles Joe Staley and Mike McGlinchey.

Person is no longer with San Francisco, effectively replaced on the roster by former New York Jets guard Tom Compton.
Compton will compete with Brunskill for the starting right guard spot in training camp, but the latter probably winds up getting it.
Aside from an eventual long-term replacement for the aging veteran, Staley, the Niners appear set with their starting cast and immediate depth. Center Weston Richburg, who suffered an injury late in 2019, is expected back in time for training camp. To guard against any setbacks, the 49ers re-signed the player who relieved Richburg last year, Ben Garland, to a one-year deal.
Barring such setbacks, however, the starting job is Richburg’s to lose.
As far as the 2020 NFL Draft goes, it’ll kick off on Thursday, April 23. And those actions will certainly alter what the early projections are for the offense’s starting lineup.
