The dust has settled and the San Francisco 49ers are off to the Super Bowl after a 37-20 drubbing of the Green Bay Packers. Niner Noise grades the 49ers after yet another huge playoff win.

The Green Bay Packers came, they saw, but they most certainly did not conquer the San Francisco 49ers as the young upstarts are now officially in Super Bowl LIV against the Kansas City Chiefs.

It was a game that followed much of the same script of the first game this season between the two, with the 49ers offense gashing open the Packers defense for big plays while Green Bay couldn’t throw their way out of a big deficit with the vaunted Niners defense doing its job.

At halftime, the score was 27-0 to the good guys and San Francisco was halfway to Miami.

To the Packers’ credit, they did fight back, and even got the score to 34-20 late to make it a tad interesting. However, the 49ers just promptly went back down the field, and a Robbie Gould field goal made it 37-20—a three-score game.

Cornerback Richard Sherman officially clinched the game when he snagged his second interception in as many games off a desperation heave by Green Bay quarterback Aaron Rodgers.

The game ended up being comfortable in the end, as the 49ers were never truly threatened. It came off like a movie sequel that was essentially nothing new and was instead identical to the content of the original.

With only one more game to go, these are the grades for the 49ers in their NFC Championship demolition of the Packers.
