No. 1: Jimmy Garoppolo will throw for at least 300 yards and no turnovers
One of the big unknowns for the 49ers is quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo. How will he perform in his first ever playoff start?
I’ll back Garoppolo in: I think he will have a flawless game (turnover wise at least) with the football.
We saw a clinical Garoppolo in what was essentially the divisional title game at Seattle with a 18-of-22 passing performance for 285 yards and no turnovers.
Minnesota is a good team, of course; you don’t make the playoffs if you aren’t. But Garoppolo was able to bring the goods against a tougher team on the road, and I think having a week off from playing while also being at home will benefit him.
Look for Garoppolo to continue to deliver on his breakout season against Minnesota.
