There are plenty of interesting developments in Niner Noise’s Week 7 NFL power rankings, which see the San Francisco 49ers rise again, while the Los Angeles Rams and Cleveland Browns fall.

The Los Angeles Rams, not the San Francisco 49ers, were supposed to be tops in NFL power rankings after six weeks of action around the league.

Following the Niners’ 20-7 road win over their NFC West division rivals, though, it’s the 5-0 49ers whose stock is on the rise.

Meanwhile, the 3-3 Rams are watching their grip on the division slip away.

Teams like the Rams and Cleveland Browns have been rather disappointing this season despite entering 2019 with a lot of hype and hope. Cleveland, too, lost a home bout against an NFC West squad, the Seattle Seahawks, which came from behind to ensure first-year head coach Freddie Kitchens’ seat won’t cool down after more than a few questionable decisions this season.

The New York Giants showed some pluck on Thursday Night Football, despite losing to the New England Patriots, and quarterback Daniel Jones still appears to be the real deal, even though his prime-time efforts were rugged.

Yet there are more than a few other teams, who can’t seem to get out of their own way.

Yes, we’re talking about you, Atlanta Falcons.

Some bottom-feeding teams ended up winning in Week 6, which has some slight affect on Niner Noise’s NFL power rankings this week. Compared to last week, though, we’re starting to identify the top-tier teams heading towards the halfway point of the season.

Let’s see who remains in the bottom crop, however, as we break down where all 32 teams stand entering Week 7.
