Again, no changes atop our NFL power rankings.

The Super Bowl-champion New England Patriots still remain atop our NFL power rankings despite losing a number of key players during the offseason, including tight end Rob Gronkowski to retirement, and Trey Flowers and offensive tackle to free agency.

Those losses don’t seem to be the kind to bother head coach Bill Belichick, however, and landing Arizona State’s N’Keal Harry only gives quarterback Tom Brady another weapon to turn into a potential Pro Bowler right out of the gate.

Michigan EDGE Chase Winovich should help alleviate the loss of Flowers, while West Virginia’s Yodny Cajuste was a great pickup in Round 3 to replace Brown. Cajuste was one of those players seen on many a big board fringing between the first and second rounds, so Belichick maximized

some value there.

Of course, there are going to be the seemingly yearly takes and comments how Brady and the Patriots dynasty is finally coming to a close. Brady is too old, he’ll regress or Belichick will finally lose his edge somehow.

How many years have pundits been saying that?

If there’s any lesson to be learned here, it’s to not count the Pats out until they’re, well… out.

They couldn’t be any further from being out to kick off 2019. And it will be tough for them to surrender the top spot in NFL power rankings, too.
