The NFL is in Bosa’s blood

The Bosa’s presence in the NFL stretches right back to 1987, when his father, John Bosa, who was also a defensive end, was selected 16th overall by the Miami Dolphins. Although not having the skills of his sons, he would go on to play in 31 games across three years with a total of seven sacks.

His uncle, linebacker Eric Kumerow, was also selected 16th overall by the Miami Dolphins in the 1988 NFL Draft.

However, much like Nick Bosa’s father, his NFL career would also be short and unproductive.

Most recently, his brother and defensive end Joey Bosa was selected third overall in the 2016 NFL Draft by the San Diego Chargers. He has had an amazing career since joining the NFL, with a total of 28.5 sacks and 51 quarterback hits, something that 49ers fans will be hoping his younger brother can replicate.

Needless to say, the Bosa brood seems to be bred for NFL ranks.
