Trent Taylor as Tyrion Lannister

Sorry, Trent Taylor. But you’re short. And so is Tyrion Lannister.

At 5-foot-8, San Francisco’s slot receiver can only draw comparisons to Tyrion, who is at least capable of using his vertically challenged nature to his benefit, instead relying on wit and wisdom to engineer some of the most crafty and ingenious alliances within the seven kingdoms.

Perhaps no other photo illustrates the difference in height between Taylor and his teammates than the one below next to George Kittle:

Fans and teammates may hesitate to call Taylor “the imp,” although the 49ers have already poked fun at the receiver’s height.

At least Taylor is a good sport about it.
