5 reasons the 49ers could be Super Bowl contenders in 2020
No. 4: 49ers will have a defensive blue chipper for next season
Nick Bosa. Quinnen Williams. Josh Allen.
They’re all fine choices at the very top of the 2019 NFL Draft, all three have their champions.
All three would also look mighty fine in red and gold.

Whether it be Bosa on the EDGE, Williams forming a lethal interior duo with defensive tackle DeForest Buckner or Allen on the EDGE or as a linebacker, due to his versatility, the 49ers can’t really go wrong.
All three project to be excellent pros at the next level, all three of them would help the 49ers immensely in their quest for a better output in the sack department.
The only way this won’t happen would be a huge trade offer from a quarterback-needy team, moving up with San Francisco for it’s No. 2 overall draft selection.
This was a very good year to be bad for the 49ers, as they will land one of the best defensive blue chippers in the draft and help fill a need.
Don’t rule out another defensive prospect, maybe in the secondary, at the top of Round 2 as well. There are always a few first-round prospects falling into the early stages of the second round, and the 49ers are in prime position to take advantage of it.
