Cornerback (6): Richard Sherman, Ahkello Witherspoon, K’Waun Williams, Tarvarius Moore, Tarvarus McFadden, D.J. Reed

That starting three at cornerback (Richard Sherman and Ahkello Witherspoon on the outside and K’Waun Williams playing the slot) looks pretty sweet.

Behind those three are another three players — all rookies — with a lot of potential. Tarvarius Moore has not played well in preseason but is a third-round rookie, Tarvarus McFadden was undrafted but has played great coverage and D.J. Reed has played well for being a fifth-round rookie.

I don’t think that former first-round pick Jimmie Ward, who has been a disaster on the field this year, makes the team despite the team picking up his fifth-year option. If the coaches really want to make a statement on not tolerating poor play, they’ll cut or trade Ward right away even if it’s not the financially smart thing to do.

Screw the cap, it’s all about the talent.
