He just has been beyond anything the 49ers could have hoped for when he was the 240th overall pick in the 2018 NFL Draft.

With a strong preseason debut behind him, it’s now up to him to follow up and cement his spot on the roster if he hasn’t already.

He’s already had a target from Garoppolo against the Cowboys, so if he receives more against the Texans it’d be hard to keep him out of the team.
